The seventh graders from the Fürstenberg high school in Donaueschingen had the opportunity to get an insight into different areas of the company. Design and engineering, production, sales, materials management and other departments provided insights into their everyday work. Various job profiles were presented. The young visitors demonstrated their manual skills by building a smartphone holder. The project "Putting a sorting conveyor into operation" focused on the interrelationships between mechanics and electronics. Of course, the introduction to the semiconductor industry and a tour through the AP&S headquarters as well as our production plant II were also part of the career orientation day. Finally, our young trainees were able to experience the virtual world at our sister company tepcon GmbH. It was an exciting day with a varied program and new experiences. We are looking forward to welcoming further young people to our career orientation program in the near future.
